I’m Mike Mousicos, a London-based actor and voice over artist. My voice has been described as having warm, matey, charming, friendly tones. I’ve often been selected for projects that require a conversational type voice over in a Cockney or London Estuary accent.
How and why I got into the voice over industry is a story that’s probably familiar to most (if not all) voice artists! My work in a previous career involved me speaking to dozens of people on a daily basis and over the years I’d received numerous comments regarding my voice. I’d politely thank people for their compliments but wouldn’t really give what they’d said any further thought.
It wasn’t until years later that I decided to pursue a career as a voice artist when a musician and jingle writer, who’d worked in radio, encouraged me to do so.
Shortly after that, I began training in voice over, audio production and acting. Since then I have completed voice over projects to include: a Television commercial, audio book, radio announcements, animations, explainers, corporate and industry events, product videos, promo trailers, narration and video game characters. My training as an actor has also lead to recent on-camera work, including roles as "Mario Leon" in the British crime movie "Original Gangster", "John Adamos" in the recently released drama/crime movie "The Bezonians", "Thanatos" in "The Phantom Warrior", "Sergeant Popeye" in the horror/comedy "The Abomination" and "John Salas" in the crime/action movie "Heroes and Villains."
I own and operate my own professional recording equipment, including an acoustically treated vocal booth. It is with this home studio set up that I have completed most of my clients’ projects to date but I have also attended recording and film studios when required.
I pride myself in providing my clients with a high quality, fast and efficient service, so if you have a project you’d like to discuss, please use the Contact page to get in touch. I look forward to hearing from you!
